 For the past eight years I have designed the Cornerstone Christian Academy annual Shakespeare Festival playbill. This will be my last year as our son will be moving up to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy next year. Here is my last hurrah -- Richard III.

Our son's 9th birthday is tomorrow (Happy Birthday, Kolton!) so my wife suggested I create some artwork to go on his birthday cake. The theme was easy... he's having his party at the bowling alley.  Bowling Birthday Cake Design  Bowling Birthday Cake I used Google Sketchup to create the bowling pins, re-purposed a "planet" I had done earlier to make the bowling ball, then used Illustrator and Photoshop to pull it all together. The Color Halftone smart filter in Photoshop helped give it a pop-art/comic book feel.
