Our son's 9th birthday is tomorrow (Happy Birthday, Kolton!) so my wife suggested I create some artwork to go on his birthday cake. The theme was easy... he's having his party at the bowling alley.

I used Google Sketchup to create the bowling pins, re-purposed a "planet" I had done earlier to make the bowling ball, then used Illustrator and Photoshop to pull it all together. The Color Halftone smart filter in Photoshop helped give it a pop-art/comic book feel.
